Talk! Just Talk.

Handling teenagers can be a challenge at times. Some of them are too outspoken and some are just so introvert. For some of us, we will think the ones who are outspoken are rude and those who keep silent are well-mannered. Alright, I have my own point of view. Just because they voice their thought out, it doesn't mean they're trying to be rude. To some extend, I like when they're able to talk anything with me. Closing the gap, meh! I just want them to feel that it is okay to ask and to be able to talk openly. I'm just glad some of them can do that with me. I don't blame them if they're shy to speak up cos the culture we're living in sucks, where youngsters aren't allowed to ask questions, but to abide rules and whatever the elders say. Like what Morrie said in Tuesdays with Morrie "If the culture doesn't work, don't buy it"

Dear readers,
It is okay to question.

Heh, I conducted a Grammar Test tonight. Mr. Grammarian seemed to have difficulties answering. Why? Beats me, haha. Alright, so I called him Mr. Grammarian, he's quite good in English, compared to the others, and he's gotten Band 5 in MUET, though this speaks a little for students' performance in English (totally! cos I've a student with Band 5 and she sucks!). He, is very outspoken, he says whatever popped out in his head and tonight I overheard him saying 'menyampah' (WHAT?). So I asked and he said 'Tak suka paper ni' 'What's wrong?' 'Ingat senang ke nak cari errors' LOL Alright! That's not rude. He's just telling me the test was difficult and I completely understand. Just don't mistaken rude with being outspoken people. Can I make a hypothesis here? If you're an English educated, you tend to be outspoken. Really?

Uff...almost 2am. I need to hit the sack now. I love being a teacher. True, teachers don't make alot of money but when you see your students understood what you taught (formal classroom including real life lessons), you will say 'Hey, I give them something to learn!'

Such satisfaction that will put a smile on your face the whole day.
